Почистване на предно колело на iRobot Roomba 5xx

Техниката работи по-дълго, ако се експлоатира грамотно – стига да знаеш как. На предишното пускане на робота-прахосмукачка Roomba 520 преди няколко дена забелязах, че предното колело се приплъзва по пода, вместо да се върти и шума, който издава машинката е различен. Около лагерите на колелото се бяха намотали конци и косми, здраво фиксирани с почти втвърдил се прахоляк. Очевидно колелцето трябваше да се свали за почистване.

И понеже в краткото ръководство на български и във FAQ секцията на вносителя  не се споменава за този проблем, реших, че точно това сигурно трябва да е сложно и почти разглобих робота. Така де… на кой му се размотава до сервиз на другия край на София. Махнах почти всичко, фиксирано с винтчета и когато въпреки това не намерих достъп до това колело, се предадох и затърсих информация в сайта на производителя.

Видеото по-долу е поздрав за всички като мен, които първо се хващат за отверката и чак след това четат user manual-а*.

* В тлъстата бяла книжка на няколко езика (без български) наистина се споменава как се вади това колело за почистване, като са изброени и всички сменяеми модули. И въпреки че прегледах старателно тлъстата бяла книжка веднага след покупката на робота… за половин година човек забравя всичко, което не му е потрябвало веднага. Забравя и къде е заврял тлъстата бяла книжка.
